Easy Dorito Taco Salad

Ingredients
  • 1 pound ground beef 
  • 1 envelope taco seasoning mix 
  • 2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese 
  • 2 cups ranch dressing 
  • 1/2 cup Italian-style salad dressing 
  • 1 red onion, diced 
  • 1 head lettuce, shredded 
  • 1 (17 ounce) package nacho-flavor tortilla chips, crushed into bite-size pieces
Directions

Cook ground beef in a skillet over medium heat, breaking the meat up as it cooks, until beef is browned and crumbly, about 10 minutes. Drain excess grease and stir in taco seasoning mix. Remove from heat and let stand until beef mixture is cool.
Mix ground beef with Cheddar cheese, ranch dressing, Italian dressing, and red onion in a large salad bowl. Chill the beef mixture until cold, at least 30 minutes. Lightly mix in lettuce and tortilla chips just before serving. Enjoy!

NACHO DORITO TACO SALAD

Ingredients
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • To taste; chili powder, onion powder, season salt, garlic powder,
  • Worcestershire
  • Brown it.
  • 1 head lettuce
  • Tomato
  • Green pepper
  • Onion
  • 2 c. shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 lb. Doritos nacho chips, crushed up
  • Kraft Catalina dressing

Method
Shred lettuce. Cut tomato, green pepper, onion. Add shredded cheddar cheese. Toss with the beef mixture. Put the nacho chips crushed up in with lettuce. Toss. Put Catalina dressing in to taste and mix. Enjoy it!

Doritos Taco Salad Recipe


Doritos Taco Salad Recipe
Ingredients:

  • 1lb lean ground beef
  • 1 (1.25 ounce) package taco seasoning mix
  • 1 (16 ounce) can chili beans
  • 1 (16 ounce) bottle French dressing
  • 1 head iceberg lettuce
  • 1 (14.5 ounce) package Doritos (or tortilla chips)
  • 2 cups shredded Colby-Jack cheese
  • 1 cup chopped tomatoes
  • 1 (2.25 ounce) can sliced black olives (drained)
  • 4 tablespoons sour cream
  • ½ cup prepared salsa


Instructions:

In a large skillet over medium-high heat, brown the ground beef. Drain of any excess liquid. Stir in taco seasoning, chili beans, and French dressing. Fill the dressing bottle 2/3 full with water and add to the skillet. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes.
Crush the Doritos and set aside. In a large bowl combine the meat mixture with lettuce, cheese, black olives, and tomatoes. Add sour cream and salsa. Stir in the crushed Doritos just before serving.

Dorito Taco Salad
Ingredients:

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup chopped Lettuce (more or less to your liking, I love lettuce and always add more)
  • 1 cup chopped tomato (more or less to your liking, I love tomatoes and always add more)
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese (more or less to your liking, I love cheese and always add more)
  • 1 finely chopped red onion
  • 1 (1 1/4 ounce) package taco seasoning (I use El Paso, but any will do)
  • 1 (15 ounce) can ranch style beans (you cant get these everywhere, so you can also use any brand of chilli beans)
  • 1 (16 ounce) bottle Catalina dressing
  • 1 (12 1/2 ounce) bag Doritos

Directions:
Fry ground beef and add taco seasoning.
Mix ground beef and ALL ingredients, except Doritos (unless you don't mind soggy), in a large bowl.
Refrigerate.
Mix in Doritos and enjoy!
